Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  2. 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
  3. 1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
  4. 3 Tbsp. butter
  5. 1/2 tsp. salt
  6. 3 eggs
  7. 1 1/2 tsps. vanilla
  8. 1 cup pecan pieces or whole pecans
  9. 1 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
Instructions
  1. Mix the brown sugar and flour in a saucepan.
  2. Add corn syrup, butter and salt.
  3. Warm over low heat, just until butter is melted.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat eggs with vanilla.
  5. Stir in sugar mixture and pour into pie shell.
  6. Add nuts.
  7. Bake below center of oven at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes, or until filling is set in center.
  8. Cool before cutting.
